Proud to be recognised as an Inclusive Worcestershire Leader

We’re proud to share that we have been recognised as an Inclusive Worcestershire Leader, highlighting our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace and supporting equitable opportunities for our team and the communities we serve.

The Inclusive Worcestershire Leaders programme, delivered by Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership in partnership with Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire Growth Hub, celebrates organisations that are actively working to build more inclusive workplaces across the county.

At Rivers, inclusion is central to what we do. As a not for profit social enterprise operating leisure centres across Wychavon, our focus has always been on improving the health and wellbeing of our communities while ensuring our facilities and workplaces are welcoming and accessible to everyone.

Being recognised as an Inclusive Worcestershire Leader reflects the work our team continues to do to create supportive environments where people feel valued, respected and able to thrive.

For us, inclusion isn’t just about “policies”, it’s about people. From supporting our staff to creating accessible opportunities for customers and communities, we’re committed to ensuring everyone feels welcome at Rivers.

We’re proud to join other organisations across Worcestershire that are championing inclusive workplaces and helping make the country a more inclusive place to live and work.
