Evesham and Pershore Leisure Centres Achieve PoolMark Accreditation

We’re proud to share that Evesham Leisure Centre and Pershore Leisure Centre have both achieved PoolMark accreditation, the UK’s national quality standard for swimming pool operation.

PoolMark is awarded by the Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG) and recognises swimming pools that meet essential standards for water quality, safety and day to day operational management. For us, this accreditation is an important marker of quality and provides reassurance to our customers that our pools are being managed with care, consistency and professionalism.

The awards were presented by Mike Shuff, M.PWTAG (cert), Director of PALM Academy Ltd. and Vice Chair of PWTAG. The plaques were received on behalf of our centres by Lee Oliver, Centre Manager at Pershore Leisure Centre, alongside Colin Jenkinson, Consultant.

We welcomed the PoolMark assessment process and found it both valuable and insightful. It provided reassurance around our existing operational standards, while also highlighting best practice and areas for continued learning. This supports our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and to providing safe, high quality swimming facilities across our centres.

Achieving PoolMark accreditation reflects the hard work, dedication and professionalism of our teams, who work behind the scenes every day to ensure our pools are safe, clean and well managed. We remain committed to maintaining high standards and to offering a positive, safe swimming experience for everyone who uses our facilities.
