Celebrating Our Quarter 2 Staff Recognition Award Winner

We believe it's important to recognise colleagues who go above and beyond in supporting our members, their teams and our organisation.

We're delighted to announce that Lou Edwards, Duty Manager at Droitwich Leisure Centre, has been named our Quarter 2 2026 Staff Recognition Award winner.

Lou was selected following several excellent nominations considered by our Executive Team. Alongside being a highly valued Duty Manager and Group Exercise Instructor, Lou was recognised for the exceptional support she has provided throughout the ongoing refurbishment of Droitwich Leisure Centre.

Her organisational skills, commitment and willingness to support colleagues have been instrumental during a significant period of change. By helping to keep day to day operations running smoothly while continuing to deliver excellent service to members, Lou has made a meaningful impact across the centre.

The Staff Recognition Awards celebrate colleagues who embody our values and make a real difference within Rivers Fitness. Every nomination reflects the dedication shown by our teams across all of our sites, and we're incredibly grateful for the passion and professionalism our colleagues demonstrate every day.
