Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre
We’re excited to see improvements to Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre and proud to be working with Wychavon District Council who are investing £15 million in to this refurbishment project. This page is your go-to place for the latest refurbishment updates, including timelines, temporary changes, and what you can expect during the works.

Important Updates
Here’s what you need to know:
Front car park is closed.
Disabled parking is available at the front of the marquee.
Main (temporary) entrance is via the main hall, at the rear of the marquee.
Reception is located at the bottom of the front stairs, opposite the lift.
Our in house physiotherapy service has returned to the usual room downstairs, opposite squash court 2.
Pool, health suite and wet side changing is closed from Monday 23rd February.
Table tennis, squash and racquetball are available again.
Classes, including virtual classes, are relocated to Studio 2, Squash Court 2 and the marquee.
The gym has now reopened.
The lift is currently not operational.
Newly refurbished dry side changing rooms and toilets are available for use.
The Sports Hall and Studio 1 will reopen for bookings from Monday 15th June.
Badminton and pickleball bookings are now available. Please note that indoor football, full court netball and basketball remain unavailable as only three courts are currently available within the sports hall.
The café is now closed until 1st September. It will reopen at the front of the centre in a newly refurbished area currently under construction.
Evesham & Pershore Leisure Centres remain open as normal, so do get in touch with us if you’d like to explore alternative options.
We know how important the centre is to our members, and we’ll do everything we can to minimise disruption. You will also be guided and signposted where to go.
These upgrades will improve your safety, comfort and overall experience.

A NEW Gym is Coming to Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre
A brand new fitness experience is on its way.
We're excited to be bringing an incredible refurbished gym to the centre as part of our major refurbishment.
Featuring brand new Pulse Fitness equipment, strength and functional training areas, upgraded cardio equipment and a fresh, modern look throughout, our new gym has been designed to help you get the most from every workout.
And this is just the beginning, we'll be revealing more over the coming weeks, so keep checking back for the latest updates, sneak peeks and opening information.

Temporary Gym During the Refit
To help keep you moving while the final stages of the refurbishment take place, a temporary gym will be available in the Sports Hall from 17th-30th August (we may be able to open a little earlier, so keep an eye on our social media for updates).

A brand new 12m x 8m learner pool with a depth of 0.9m–1.1m, designed to support swimming lessons, family swimming and water confidence sessions.New Café Area

New lighting, a new resin pool surround replacing damaged tiles, and new balustrades separating pool and spectator areas.

Full refurbishment of the gym and swimming changing rooms, including:
New resin flooring
New showers and toilet facilities

New air handling systems
Car Parks
The front and rear car parks will be resurfaced and remarked following completion of the indoor refurbishment, with additional disabled parking spaces included. (Car Park 1 was completed last year.)
