Casual Recreation Assistant/Lifeguard

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic candidates to join our fun team and deliver a quality customer service!

Applicants must hold a valid RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. However, candidates who do not currently possess an NPLQ may still be considered. Training may be offered to suitable applicants who can demonstrate strong swimming ability and successfully complete a timed swim assessment.

The ideal candidates will have an outgoing personality with good people skills, and the flexibility to work on a shift rota basis working weekends and Bank Holidays.

Pay: National Minimum Wage

Job Duties:

• Uphold the highest standards of safety by providing lifeguard coverage for the swimming pool.

• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment through routine equipment and facility sanitation.

• Assist the public with enquiries and ensure a positive experience for all pool users.

• Play an active role in promoting and running poolside activities.

• Conduct regular equipment and building checks, reporting any defects to the Duty Manager.

• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support colleagues in other areas of the facility's operations.
