Introducing the Rivers Staff Recognition Award

Celebrating our first ever winner

We’re proud to introduce the Rivers Staff Recognition Award, a new initiative designed to celebrate and recognise colleagues who consistently go above and beyond in their roles, making a real difference to both customers and fellow team members.

We’re delighted to announce that the first ever recipient of this award is Woody Bostock from Evesham Leisure Centre.

A brilliant example of Rivers values in action

Woody is an outstanding member of the Evesham team and a fantastic example of what Rivers is all about. In his role as a Duty Manager, he plays a key part in the day to day running of the centre, supporting both customers and colleagues with professionalism and a positive, can do attitude.

Alongside this, Woody also supports the centre as a Lifeguard and Recreation Assistant, always willing to step in where needed and help keep things running smoothly.

Going above and beyond

Woody consistently goes the extra mile outside of his core role. He regularly supports wider initiatives such as careers fairs, helping to promote opportunities within the leisure industry and inspire others to get involved.

He also played a key role in events such as RLSS UK Restart a Heart Day last year, supporting vital first aid and lifesaving awareness in the local community.

His commitment, flexibility and willingness to help wherever needed make a real difference to both colleagues and customers alike.
