Gifted & Talented Scheme
Gifted & Talented Scheme
Wychavon is home to many gifted athletes from a range of disciplines including cycling, hockey, sailing, running, motor racing and canoeing. It is even home to a Team GB Paralympic swimmer in Rebecca Redfearn!
Rivers Fitness sponsor elite athletes who live within the district and work with them in their training and recovery regimes. A number of local athletes have benefitted from this scheme and the volume of athletes in the area is fantastic to see! We are always looking for new talented kids & adults, so think you’ve got what it takes to be part of the Gifted & Talented Scheme?
To qualify for the Rivers Gifted & Talented scheme, an athlete must be reguarly achieving a top finish in their respective age category as well as being fully commited to pursuing their particular sport full time. As part of the scheme you may be asked to support Rivers in yearly updates & other promotional opportunities.
