Wychavon Leisure is Delighted to Announce a 2016 Price Freeze!

Throughout 2016, both members and non-members can continue to enjoy all of the Rivers facilities for the same great price as last year!

Peter Williams, Managing Director of Wychavon Leisure states that “Wychavon Leisure strives to provide affordable, enjoyable facilities within our local community.  Keeping prices locked in 2016 allows us to continuously reach out to a wider range of people, encouraging those within the local area to lead active, healthy lifestyles and enjoy themselves in the process”.

Wychavon Leisure remains committed to providing the wider community with an affordable way to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle and this price freeze will ensure that customers continue to receive great value for money. Prices will also be held at the Droitwich Spa Lido, which opens for the season on 28th May.

Furthermore, clubs and schools will also benefit from a price freeze on all of their activities within Wychavon Leisure facilities.

Living life healthier is of paramount importance to both Wychavon Leisure and its partners.

Councillor Rod Laight, of Bromsgrove District & Redditch Borough Council says that this is “Brilliant news and demonstrates how this Council and its partners, with its communities in mind, is committed to providing fantastic and affordable activities for all of our residents to enjoy and benefit from. I’d like to thank Wychavon Leisure for their hard work which complements our well-being aspirations”.

Cllr Gerry O’Donnell, Portfolio Holder for Community Development, Culture and Sport on Wychavon District Council, said: “Encouraging people to be active is one of the aims in our new four year plan and this announcement will help them to do that. Regular physical activity has tremendous health benefits including lowering the risk of developing chronic diseases like heart disease and some cancers, while it can also help boost self-esteem, sleep quality and reduce the risk of depression amongst other things. I’d urge people to get out, get active and explore the opportunities on offer in our leisure centres and open spaces.”
