Here at Rivers we are getting ready to open our doors again.

We are working behind the scenes implementing necessary procedures and measures to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable when you return.

25th July – We’re Back!

We are working on an re-opening exercise classes & gym sessions for the 25th July as with the guidance from the government. We look forward to being able to welcome you back into our centres in Droitwich, Evesham and Pershore.

This will kick off Phase 1 of our re-opening plans. Things will be different, probably for some time to come, gym and class capacities will be reduced, social distancing requirements will be in place and new sanitation/cleaning stations will be available throughout the centres. All these steps have been introduced to ensure it is safe as possible for our staff to return to work and our customers to exercise.

In order to accommodate as many members and other users as possible all activities will have fixed session times and will require pre-booking on our website to limit numbers to the reduced capacities of our gyms and classes. We are also asking you to protect yourself and those around you by following social distancing guidance while in the centres and you may be requested to enter and leave through different doors.

We will also be asking you to come ready to exercise as the changing rooms have to remain closed for the time being and you will be asked to clean down equipment after use. Toilet and hand washing facilities will of course be available but water fountains will be out of use. Bottled water will be available from vending machines or you may wish to bring your own filled water bottle.

On arrival you will be asked to queue outside of the centre (please adhere to social distancing) and we would therefore recommend you do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booked session time. Lockers will be available but you are requested to bring only the minimum of belongings.

No sweat towels will not be allowed & the hair dryers & hand dryers will be not available, however paper towels will be readily available. Please bring your own YOGA MATS – Thank you.

Junior Gym Sessions – 11 to 13 year olds will not be able to attend the gym without a parent/guardian with them (all junior gym sessions have been cancelled for the moment).

Lost & Found – Due to the regulations, we are unable to store any lost property & therefore we are not able to offer a lost & found service at this time.

1st August – Leisure Centre Pools Reopen!

From the 1st August, Evesham & Droitwich Leisure centre pools will reopen & be on our booking only system. Pershore Leisure Centre’s pool will remain closed due to essential & substantial maintenance (We will update as soon as we know more). We would like to remind Pershore members that they can use their membership at Evesham & Droitwich.

    As a not-for-profit leisure trust, we pride ourselves on the quality of our facilities and services we offer to our communities and are fully dependent on the income generated from our customers’ visits. These are very difficult and challenging times for our business at present and we will endeavor to do our very best and go the extra mile to ensure the viability of our facilities over the coming months.

    Your Membership

    There is no need to contact us, we will be in touch with members before we re-open.

    • All memberships are frozen and no collections have been made whilst we have been closed.
    • We will be informing direct debit members of when payments will restart and what activities you can book.
    • Annual & 6 month pre-paid memberships will be extended for the period we have been closed.
